Writing
I am a writer and a teacher. I see these two practices as deeply intertwined. Whether it is in the classroom, or on your company’s landing page, I strive to bring information to life. Effective communication is two parts clarity, one part verve.
I spent two years as the Content Manager of The Cultivist, a concierge service based in New York and London that provides members with a VIP ticket to the art world. I have also written hundreds of articles as a freelancer, including sponsored content pieces for innovative companies such as Consentino, Dinesen, and Formica.
In addition to commercial writing, I also write essays on art, architecture, literature, and film. Cultural criticism is a personal passion, and it is the area in which I hone my writing skills. This piece of mine was recently featured as a model text in the Norton Field Guide to Writing, a leading college writing textbook.

“Readers tend to stay reading Pat’s articles longer than most other articles on the site, which is indicative of his ability to tell compelling stories and educate his audience at the same time.”
